Our On-The-Field Trainings are ongoing in various locations around Nepal. These courses are developed alongside and tailored to the needs of local church leaders. They generally run over 1 or 2 years and consist of 1-week-long trainings scheduled at regular intervals throughout the year.
Although the courses are customized to the needs of the local churches, generally the subjects we cover are:
1. Inductive Bible Study
• How to exegetically study the Bible.
2. OT Survey
• Understanding and interpreting the OT.
3. NT Survey
• Understanding and interpreting the NT.
4. Basic Biblical Doctrines
• An overview of key Christian doctrines.
5. Homiletics
• Expositional preaching and how to effectively disciple from the pulpit.
6. Disciple Making
• How to encourage a disciple making culture.
7. Pastoral Epistles
• A verse by verse study through the Pastoral Epistles.
8. Biblical Leadership
• A study of servant-leadership in the Bible.
9. Worship in the Church
• Worship leading, gifts of the Spirit in the church.
10. Church Governance, Finances and Accountability
• Practical training on structure and good practice in church leadership.
11. Christian Apologetics, World Religions and Cults
• Introducing basic apologetic arguments and different world views.
12. Church History
• A short overview of CH with a focus on the CH of Nepal.
Graduates will receive a 'Diploma in Theology and Ministry' from CCBCN Training Centre.
