About Us

Calvary Chapel Bible College Nepal (CCBCN) was established in 2015 and is an affiliate campus of Calvary Chapel Bible College. We offer a one-year program leading in to a two-year program for the right students.

CCBCN Mission Statement:

We serve the churches of Nepal by discipling and nurturing the students they send to us, while also providing a cross-cultural missions experience for international students. We aim to develop Christ-like character in our students; to equip them in the Word of God; and to aid them in establishing a living relationship with Him. We pray that our program will provide our students with a firm foundation for their entire lives.

Our students are almost entirely Nepali, and we hold a particular passion to see the Kingdom of God extended in Nepal. We cultivate a missional ethos, identifying students with a clear call to the ministry to support them in fulfilling God’s call upon their lives. With a view to church planting and evangelism, we strive to maintain strong partnerships with the churches of Nepal. It is our desire to minister in a manner that is culturally sensitive and relevant, which is conducive to effective missions and the unity that God desires for the Church.

As a non-denominational institution, we welcome students from a variety of evangelical Christian traditions and denominations. Our classes are generally taught by Calvary Chapel pastors and teachers from around the world, and we ensure all our classes are consistent with the CCBC Statement of Faith. We offer courses on foundational theological subjects, but our focus is ensuring that our students are well acquainted with the books of the Bible and know how to ‘rightly divide the Word of Truth’ (2 Timothy 2:15).
