Calvary Chapel Bible College Nepal (CCBCN) was established in 2015 and is an affiliate campus of Calvary Chapel Bible College USA (https://calvarychapelbiblecollege.com/affiliate-schools/). Calvary Chapel is a Evangelical non-denominational movement so CCBCN is here to serve and serve alongside Bible-believing Evangelical churches in Nepal. As a non-denominational institution, we welcome students from a variety of evangelical Christian traditions and denominations. We offer courses on foundational theological subjects, but our focus is ensuring that our students are well acquainted with the books of the Bible and know how to ‘rightly divide the Word of Truth’ (2 Timothy 2:15).
CCBCN Mission Statement:
We serve the churches of Nepal by discipling and nurturing the students that they entrust to us, while also providing a cross-cultural missions experience for international students. We aim to develop Christ-like character in our students; to equip them in the Word of God; and to aid them in establishing a living relationship with Him. Our program will provide our students with a firm foundation for their entire lives.
Our students are almost entirely Nepali and we have a passion to see the Kingdom of God extended in Nepal. Thus, we cultivate a missional ethos, identifying students with a clear call to the ministry to support them in fulfilling God’s call upon their lives. With a view to church-planting and mission, we strive to maintain strong partnerships with the churches of Nepal pursuing the unity that God desires for the Church.
CCBCN Training Centre:
The ministry of CCBCN extends beyond the Bible College in Kathmandu. We train leaders around Nepal through our Online Training and flexible On-The-Field Training programs in various regions of Nepal.
We offer online training (in Nepali) for those that are serving full-time in the ministry or have other commitments that prevent them from being able to attend our College in Kathmandu. This enables us to encourage and equip Nepalis located around Nepal and abroad.
We also offer on-the-field training around Nepal in which we support a cluster of churches by providing their leaders with practical and theological training. The regularity of the sessions are coordinated with the local churches and the program content is likewise tailored to their needs. This is a great way for those already in the ministry to access further training, support, and encouragement.
