Do I need a travel visa to come to Nepal?
Yes! In order to stay in the country of Nepal, you will need to apply for a tourist visa. Nepal does not grant study visas for Bible Colleges, therefore students must apply for a tourist visa.
Arrival
A member of our team will be at the airport to greet you and will arrange for you to be transported with your luggage to the campus. We will also arrange for your transport to the airport when you depart.
Please email your confirmed flight schedule to admin@ccbcnepal.com, so that we can arrange flight pick-up for you and confirm the exact dates you will be in-country.
Visa Requirements
You should be able to get your visa upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
When you arrive at the immigrations and customs area at the airport, there are Kiosks in the arrival section that are available to fill out your information, take your passport photos, and then print to give to the immigration officer.
You can wait till you arrive at the airport to fill it out, or you can fill it out at home before you arrive and bring the print out with you. Filling it out before your trip saves you some time in the airport, but it is not mandatory. Below is the information you will need to put on the form (whether at the airport or at home) as well as the new process for at the airport:
1st Step
Fill out Tourist Visa form (at airport kiosk or at home)
Print barcode page
2nd Step
Make payment at the payment counter according to your visa requirement.
Get the receipt
3rd Step
Proceed to the Immigration Desk with your visa application bar code, payment receipts and your passport
Hand in your documents to immigration officer for visa processing.
