Rajiv is from Kathmandu, Nepal. He was raised in a Hindu and Buddhist family. At the age of 18 he was introduced to christianity and at 19 he accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. By the age of 23, Rajiv was in fulltime ministry at a local church. For the past 3 1/2 years, he has remained at the church and worked as a youth leader, worship leader and has been involved in short-term mission trips to different villages in Nepal. During that time, he also studied 10 months in a Bible training facility and one year in M. Div but was not able to complete it after he left his job. A little while after he left his job at the church, he was given the opportunity to work with Anchored Relief International, an organization linked with Calvary Chapel San Juan Capistrano. It’s total focus is on sharing the gospel, equipping local leaders, and planting churches. One of is job responsibilities with Anchored is to travel to and work in a village that was badly affected by the April 2015 earthquake, called Swara. After working with Calvary Chapel San Juan Capistrano, Rajiv started taking classes at Calvary Chapel Bible College Nepal and he also helps with translation for teams and bible college classes. He is now teaching a class at Calvary Chapel Bible College and helping in any other way needed around campus.
