Visiting CCBC Pastors & Teachers - Financial Information
Our campus offers dorm-style housing for students and visiting missionaries. Pastors (and their wives) will have a private bedroom with a queen bed and an attached bathroom / shower. Linens, towels, and food on campus are provided as well. The ‘American’ kitchen is shared amongst the full-time missionaries living on campus.
For those wishing to come with a family or team, please contact us and we can make the necessary arrangements for your accommodation. The pricing module will vary depending on the size of the team.
The cost for pastors who are teaching a block class on the school campus, starting in 2017, is $275 per person, per week.
Money must be brought in cash and will be collected upon arrival.
This cost covers: 1. Airport pick up and drop off 2. American breakfast, Nepali lunch, and an occasional dinner on campus 3. Electricity 4. Water 5. Propane - used for cooking, hot water heater for the shower, and room heater (if needed) 6. WiFi 7. Transportation throughout the week (not including any transportation to or from any sightseeing locations) 8. "Housekeeping" (toilet paper, etc) and laundry services (washing towels, sheets, etc. before and after stay) 9. In-country cell phone with minutes and phone numbers pre-programmed 10. Gas for generator - if/when used
The cost does not cover: 1. Plane ticket 2. Tourist visa 3. Eating out at restaurants 4. Sightseeing 5. Shopping
The cost of airline tickets varies depending on the time of year – anywhere from $850 to $1,700.
Depending on your spending preferences, personal money of $100-300 is recommended for eating out, snacks, tourist attractions, and souvenirs.
